Gray Wolf Group sponsors a wolf through Wolf Park in Battle Ground, Indiana.

Born in 1998, Tristan is one of the largest wolves in his pack at Wolf Park. He’s quite friendly around people and is a talented tree climber:

In 2001 Tristan won a minor fight against the older wolf Miska and became the pack’s beta wolf. Further advancement was checked by the alpha male Seneca until the spring of 2003, when Tristan broke away with an older male and female wolf to become alpha of his own pack.

Tristan’s pack grew with the addition of his own four pups and his adopted nephews Wolfgang and Wotan. Sadly, these two ended Tristan’s reign and deposed him as alpha in July of 2009.
